Common questions

What is Ori?

A daily journal for your mind. You write or speak about your day, and Ori reflects it back alongside your sleep, calendar, and a short daily wellbeing check-in. It's a tool for self-reflection — not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything.

Where is my data stored?

Your journal entries live on your device. Some features send text to AI providers to generate readings and insights. We're actively expanding our privacy controls — email us if you have specific questions about your data.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email vineetu@gmail.com with a short description and a screenshot if you can. Feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.

How do I delete my data?

You can clear Ori's data from within the app's settings, or by removing the app from your device. For a full deletion request, email us and we'll confirm.

Troubleshooting

Oura Ring says connected, but new nights aren't arriving

Nights make two hops: the ring syncs to Oura's own app first, and Ori reads from there. So start with the Oura app — if last night isn't in it either, charge the ring, keep Bluetooth on, and give the Oura app a minute to catch up.

If Oura's app has your nights but Ori doesn't, the link between Ori and Oura has usually expired. In Ori, go to Settings → Connected sources, tap Disconnect on Oura Ring, then reconnect. Everything already on your phone stays, and the missing days fill back in on the next sync.
